Overview:
NPI Manufacturing Engineer Plans, develops and programs for NPI. Estimates manufacturing cost and staffing requirement, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines. Uses professional concepts to solve a wide range of difficult engineering problems in imaginative and practical ways. Supports project team and normal production, and proactive in continuous improvement ideas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the mass production line to identify problems, diagnose causes, and determine corrective and preventive actions.
- Evaluates and recommends alternative production methods and materials to reduce costs and improve product quality, efficiency and performance.
- Coordinates the presentation of the new project to ensure the successful launch.
- Review designs for manufacturing and assembly.
- Structure the equipment design and workspace layout, set up the workstation, balance line and time study for maximum efficiency.
- Generates and keeps updated SAP information related to routes, capabilities and work centers.
- Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow. Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management's decision.
- Originate and develop processes and sequences of operation and equipment required for parts and assemblies.
- Plan, direct, coordinate the manufacturing process into prototypes and full production testing.
- Evaluate and recommend alternative production methods and materials to reduce costs and improve product quality, efficiency and performance.
- Confer with management, engineering and other personnel regarding manufacturing capabilities and production schedules to facilitate production processes.
- Consult with planning and staff about product design and tools to ensure efficient production methods.
- Direct and coaches Junior Engineers in improving problem - solving skills and improving knowledge.
- Direct the process of new products (BRT) and support the maintenance of line (MOL).

Qualifications:

- B.S. in Engineering.
- Experience 1 - 3 Years in electronics manufacturing companies.
- English 85%
- Application of statistical methods and quality tools (basic tools 7, Cpk, SPC, DOE, etc.)
- Knowledge of DFM / DFA.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Very good teamwork and customer orientation mentality.
- Able to work under objectives and goals.
