**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
This position will create, maintain, and leverage the business platforms and processes to govern and manage data designed to elevate customer engagement and deliver better patient outcomes. The Data Management Lead will focus on improving local data governance, including establishing the data strategy for LOC (in line with broader GEM, GPD, Enterprise frameworks), driving the adoption of best practices regarding data hygiene and management across functional teams, and helping prioritize data initiatives based on LOC business imperatives. This role will ensure that the key data used in the LOC is relevant, up-to-date, accurate and well-documented. The Data Management Lead will also develop LOC insights and analytical capabilities aligned with GEM and GDP direction and spearhead the data consistency and data quality initiatives needed to facilitate deeper insights and analysis at the regional, GEM, and GPLS levels.

This position reports to the role of DD&T Head and is based in Mexico City, Mexico.

**WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON**
- Manage data that enables the country's strategic capabilities, such as Patient Journey and Outcomes, the next generation customer experience, ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
- Maintenance of the data catalog taking advantage of business platforms (Collibra).
- Master data management: Keep reference books updated. Ensure cross-referencing of data from multiple data sources at critical levels (In-Market, IQVIA, CRM, NBA Data).
- Continuous monitoring of Data Quality, establish consistent metrics to measure data quality. Detection of gaps and resolution of problems in coordination with GEM / Global teams.
- Build effective relationships with local and global internal partners to understand data news, new demands, data dependencies and constantly analyze feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of data management processes.
- Creation and maintenance of enterprise datasets to meet business insights and analytical needs.
- Establish the rules for data exchange / development and maintenance of the access matrix.
- Increase LOC literacy of data and analytics through targeted capacity building and drive adoption of DD&T offerings.
- Increase data visualization capability in the LOC.
- Support and promote GEM/GPLS initiatives to facilitate analysis and improve visibility of trends in Mexico.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR**

**Experience & Education**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a data analyst / data management lead.
- Expert in creation and optimization of data management processes and reports creation.
- Experience in development of BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is mandatory.
- Experience in working with relational databases, ER modeling, API.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency in SQL and Python/R preferred; proficiency in Excel mandatory.
- Knowledge and expertise in the use of data governance, profiling, analysis, and management tools.
- Data Science background preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, math, economics).

**PROPOSITO DEL ROL**

El Data Management Lead creará, mantendrá y aprovechará las plataformas y procesos empresariales para gobernar y administrar los datos diseñados para elevar el compromiso del cliente y ofrecer mejores resultados a los pacientes. Se centrará en mejorar la gobernanza local de datos, incluido el establecimiento de la estrategia de datos para la LOC (en línea con marcos más amplios de GEM, GPD, Enterprise), impulsar la adopción de las mejores prácticas con respecto a la higiene y gestión de datos en todos los equipos funcionales, y ayudar a priorizar las iniciativas de datos basadas en los imperativos comerciales de LOC. Este rol se asegurará de que los datos clave utilizados en la LOC sean relevantes, actualizados, precisos y bien documentados. También, desarrollará información de la LOC y capacidades analíticas alineadas con la dirección de GEM y GDP y encabezará la consistencia de datos y las iniciativas de calidad de datos necesarias para facilitar conocimientos y análisis más profundos a nível regional, GEM y GPLS.
