**Location**

Toluca | Hybrid work.

**Your new role**
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for plastics commodity, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply chain for more than 7 sites in North America.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to understand commodity requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies within the procurement process, such as supplier consolidation and negotiation of volume discounts.
- Stay updated with market trends, industry regulations, and technological advancements that may impact commodity sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.

**What you´ll need**
- Bachelor´s Degree concluded.
- More than 3 years of experience in plastics commodity management for automotive or manufacturing companies.
- Extensive experience managing suppliers, implementing sourcing strategies, cost reduction initiatives and leading productivities for purchasing area.
- Desired experience in multisite management and global negotiations.
- Negotiation abilities, communication skills and work under pressure.
- SAP (desirable)
- Advanced English.
