You should be comfortable directly liaising with various business teams within the company with an aim of gaining a deep understanding of the business vision and model in order to help develop comprehensive tax solutions in support of the business, help develop tax requirements that clearly articulate such solutions, and help drive the implementation of the tax requirements.

You will also work closely with other members of the global tax and finance department. Overall you will be responsible for all tax affairs in Mexico:

- Ensure the Group complies with all local tax

requirements in Mexico
- Ensure all major tax risks are identified and managed,

including making provision (where appropriate) via the uncertain tax positions

provision
- Close follow-up of all tax developments (legal, case

law etc) in Mexico
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with

tax authorities at federal, state and local level.
- Mainly dealing with compliance (including Foreign Trade).
- Monitor developments in the business to ensure that

the tax position of the Group is fully aligned with the business reality.
- Optimizing the Effective Tax Rate (ETR) in Mexico, in

close cooperation and under guidance of the Group Tax Director, bearing in mind the Group’s appetite for tax risk. This includes conceptualization

of tax opportunities, implementation and monitoring.
- Manage relationships with the Group’s tax advisers in Mexico
- Ensure (with Group Treasury)

that the tax issues from the external and internal financing are managed and optimized.
- Managing local tax audits
- Provide guidance to and review of the financial

closing process for income and deferred tax

Experiência y requisitos

Educational requirement
- Master / Business school degree in Business or Finance or equivalent with specialization in Tax

Experience requirement
- 10 years of experience in tax matters
- Good understanding of Mexican and international tax concepts, including transfer pricing, transfer pricing documentation, interest deductibility, permanent establishment, withholding taxes etc

Competences and Skill
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Detail oriented but able to quickly grasp the big picture
- High standard of ethics and professionalism
- Fully master Excel and be familiar with ERP (Oracle and SAP are desirable) and BI systems. Fluency in English a must - other languages are considered a bonusTravel expectation outside of Mexico expected to be very limited.
