**Your role and responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement programs for internal and external communications within your assigned area of responsibility, in line with the global business strategy, corporate communications strategy, corporate identity, and brand positioning. Each day, you will ensure executional excellence for all communications measures, across your area of responsibility, in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines, and global communications framework. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending and contributing to cross-business communications projects.

ABB’s Corporate Communications team is responsible for the company’s positioning and reputation management.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Is the primary POC with Group IS for coordinating website development. Ensures content is up-to-date and reflects well on ABB.
- Identify and escalate potential ABB reputational risks on digital channels to appropriate stakeholders.
- Supports the cascade of employee communications and develops local employee communications to support fiduciary requirements.
- Helps to ensure a balanced external profile of ABB locally
- Works collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across business areas and divisions and in support of the Country Communications Leader.
- Facilitates collaboration with divisions, business areas, and ABB Group communications teams.
- Track progress using web and social analytic tools to inform stakeholders on metric performance.
- Implements communications programs and messages including editorial and visual communications to educate and inform key stakeholders.
- Building a strong network across the ABB corporate communications community to ensure alignment across the organization and transfer of best practices.
- Advising on communications programs, tools, and channels to maximize cost efficiency and minimize overlap among businesses.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Digital Design, Advertising or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in corporate communications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish
- Multi-tasking skills. Able to explain complex web traffic data in an understandable way. Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of online advertising platforms and Google Analytics
- Proficient skills: Sitefinity, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, on24, Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills. Strong project management skills with an ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
