**Customer Quality Engineer**:

Perform and support with Safety, efficiency, quality and productivity to assure that products and systems meet stated requirements and specifications, by using and documenting various test protocols and applies standards to ensure product quality. Meets special customer requirements for equipment testing and configuration. Oversees and manage testing engineers and/or technicians to ensure capacity and requirements according to complexity and expertise needed. Use of knowledge and documentation of different standards and norms related to electrical testing and safety to ensure a safe and effective operation and meet operation and customer requirements.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Conducts test protocols as assigned to ensure the products and systems that are created by the local organization meet specific requirements and customer expectations. Assists engineering staff to develop test protocols as necessary to investigate the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products. Provides support to other functional teams as needed to deploy incoming test protocols and to perform First Article Inspections. Ensures data are available according to ABB QO guidelines.
- Utilizes safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace. Notifies others when unsafe situations are observed and works with local HSE teams to improve the safety systems.
- Works with department staff to improve existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes.
- Collects, records, and evaluates utilizing Lean 6 Sigma, engineering standards and specifications, the quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance to requirements.
- Trains in basic quality test routines to support quality-at-source processes and verifies quality assurance testing performed as a part of the value creation process.
- To reach the FPY 95% in the testing process
- Fulfill the labor cost budget by project or by order.
- Assure the correct electrical operation of ABB ELDS products based on engineering design & customer specification.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or any other related Engineering.
- Experience working with Communication Protocols MODBUS/DNP3/IEC61850.
- Previous experience on Programming-Configuration ABB, SEL, MULTILIN Relays.
- Knowledge of Programming PLCs and Electrical Testing for Low & Medium Voltage Products.
- Electrical drawing interpretation and better understanding for prevent future failure in the schematic drawings and single diagram.
- NFPA Training & LOTO Training or Electrical Safety.
- IEEE Testing Std knowledge. (Routine Tests).
- Advanced English level.
