**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Optimization of PVA equipment and automation line.
- Address failures and document (containment / countermeasures) of the PVA and the line.
- Proactively and positively address failures that are beyond the scope of the production technician. Document failures and train production technicians.
- Have strong knowledge in root cause analysis.
- Identification of electrical and pneumatic faults.
- Implement improvements or new programs in conjunction with the Automation Engineer.
- Work as a team with the Process Engineer to propose improvements or implement changes.
- Improve or maintain the software and equipment that make up the automation line (Keyence Systems, PLC, etc...)
- Work proactively with the Automation Engineer in the continuous improvement of automating processes.
- Work with the Process and Automation Engineer in the integration of new or current products in the automation line that is in the clean room.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**
- Technical career in Mechatronic or Electromechanical or Engineering in progress.
- +2 years' experience in project implementation, CNC machine operation or similar, managing PLC, Keyence software or similar
- Desirable experience in operating PVA machines or related.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and programming problems.
- Ability to operate and CNC machines or related.
- Ability to operate PVA or related machines.
- Desirable experience working with robots.
- Management of measurement tools.
- Basic knowledge of networks to solve connectivity problems, etc.
- Desirable ability in programming knowledge (language doesn't matter).
- Desirable skill in EdgeCam, MasterCam, Inventor, Autocad, etc.
- Desirable skill in adhesive dispensing.
