Position Overview:
EDDY Pump is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer Supervisor to lead our design team in Tijuana. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of pump design and make significant contributions to our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on leadership and oversight to our team of design engineers.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and refine our pumping solutions.

Utilize CAD and other engineering software to create detailed design blueprints.

Oversee the prototyping and testing phase, ensuring designs meet both functional and quality benchmarks.

Continually seek ways to innovate and improve product efficiency and durability.

Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Coordinate with the production department to ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing.

Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and materials in the pump industry.

Present design ideas and modifications to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

Solid understanding of fluid dynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Experience in the pump industry is a significant advantage.
