**Role Overview**:
The Technical Lead will play a pivotal role in system integration, performance optimization, and providing technical direction, while mentoring junior team members and coordinating with global teams to deliver sustainable and efficient asset management solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Act as the technical authority for Maximo and related CMMS solutions, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Lead system design, configuration, and customization to meet operational and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Oversee integrations between Maximo and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, EAM, IoT, SCADA, supply chain).
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Define and enforce data governance standards to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to technical staff, including developers, analysts, and support engineers.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CMMS capabilities and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and local regulations.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in CMMS/EAM systems, with at least 5 years focused on IBM Maximo.
- Proven track record in leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
**Technical Skills**:
- In-depth knowledge of IBM Maximo architecture, configuration, and development.
- Strong expertise in Maximo Application Designer, Automation Scripts, MIF (Maximo Integration Framework), and BIRT reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle/DB2 databases, and system administration.
- Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and integration tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL, asset management processes, and CMMS best practices.
- Experience with cloud-hosted environments and mobile solutions for Maximo is an advantage.
**Soft Skills**:
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
