**About Visteon**

**SW Qualification Test Software Technician**

**Primary Responsibilities**

As a member of the SW Qualification Test Team, the technician will be responsible for developing and supporting testing strategies, be focused on the benches and testing stations throughout the entire product development life-cycle.

**Typical Duties**
- Bench setup and configuration, maintenance.
- Manage the bench inventory, review HW and board upgrades
- Support the team with changing or moving equipment from one bench to other
- Build and maintain Software Continuous Integration Test benches and setups
- Understand the Automation/Manual methods from test cases in the Test bench
- Understand the Test Cases and Procedures
- Handle different testing tools
- Maintain Equipment / Tools of the project using tracking tool
- Escalate issues impacting progress to planned tasks
- Constant communication with members from different sites in Visteon.

The qualified applicant for this role will possess the following attributes:
**YEARS EXPERIENCE**: 1 - 3 years of experience in designing and developing testing benches, building stations with different equipment attached.

**DEGREE STRONGLY PREFERRED**: Technician in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

**DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE**:

- Knowledge of communication protocols such CAN, LIN, Diagnostics and network (IP, subnet mask).
- Data transfer using SFTP
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Capacity to work well in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Enjoyment of troubleshooting, profiling, optimizing and problem solving
- Ability to work extended hours to meet project objectives.

**SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (i.e. Overtime, Travel, etc.)**: As required for the opportunity
