TasksAs an Engineer in Software Verification you will work as a team member within a global engineering environment on the development and testing of Vehicle Dynamics Software of state-of-the-art Electronic Brake & Safety Systems.Your job profile is aligned to the V-model and includes the review of project-specific software requirements, the definition, execution of test scripts either in a Hardware-in-the-Loop environment or Software-in-the-Loop environment and the analysis, documentation of the obtained test results.You will be joining an international team and be able to work on Test Environment automation.Your main tasks are principally derived from the Automotive SPICE SW Qualification process:- Align the project-specific test scope with the Test Manager- Collect the requirements and analyze them to define the optimal test methods- Create/Automate the test cases according your SW Qualification test strategy- Establish bidrectional traceability and ensure consistency- Summarize and communicate SW Qualification Test Results- Document all work results according to the process in place- Continuously improve existing testing methods, tools and procedures, experiment your innovation ideas (e.g. automation)**Qualifications**:**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelors degree in Engineering discipline- 2+ years experience in system engineering or software testing- Basic knowledge in Simulation HW & SW (e.g. HiL Vector Testing Tool Chain)- Knowledge in requirements and test management and tools (e.g Doors/MKS)- Practice of C/Python programming language / Algorithm scripting- Basic experience with vehicle bus system, CAN/UDS Communication and tools (e.g. CANalyzer)- Basic knowledge in data acquisition & vehicle BUS systems- Analytical thinking and systematic problem solving skills- Team player with strong focus on quality and customer orientation- Fluency in the English language (written and verbal)**Desired Qualifications**:- Degree in Engineering discipline with focus on automotive engineering- Automotive SW qualification Tools and Methods (Software Verification procedures, Release Process, PLC)- Knowledge or certification in test techniques (ISTQB)- Experience within development of vehicle dynamics, chassis or brakes, Safety critical systems ISO 26262- Creative, motivated, self-learning**Benefits**:LebensversicherungKantineMitarbeiter werben MitarbeiterGesundheitsvorsorgeFlexible ArbeitszeitenKarriereberatung und TrainingsangebotReisekostenzulageGehaltsbonusAbout usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
