**Manager Middle Office, Fund Operator**
**Role purpose**
The key tasks for this category may include some or all of the following:
- Assisting in the management of a service operations team or unit for a geographical area in the operation, delivery and execution of internal business services, technological services and transformation resources.
- Ensure that internal business operations are executed in accordance with prevailing rules, blueprint and design principles.
- Assisting in the management of developmental activity for team members and manage their work schedules to ensure optimum coverage for stakeholders.
- Supporting colleagues to ensure a cost efficient service delivery proposition for the remit area, whilst maintaining Service Level Agreements.
- Engage with stakeholders to establish business needs.
- Seek continuous improvements in efficiency of service provision and cost effectiveness of operations.
The role is fundamental for AMMX BAU functioning. Today there are 2 open positions for Middle Office team and therefore 3 people are currently executing the duty of 5. Not replacing this position timely would represent a growing concern of business disruption.
**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Ensuring that the information available in the portfolio management systems is reliable and timely.
- Assignment and monitoring of trades and transactions until their settlement.
- Investment Restrictions Coding and Monitoring.
- Monitoring the different Controls in order to maintain them updated and valid.
- Reconciliations (Cash and Holdings).
- Problem Solving.
- Process enhancement.
Requirements

**Functional Knowledge**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountant / Administration
- Financial Sector (Mutual Funds, Repo, Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives)
- Regulation applicable to Mutual Funds.
- 2 years of experience in similar functions (Middle / Back Office)
