Operation Manager Prepack

Core Responsibilities.

The Packing Operations manager it is a leader that handle and ensure to have the optimal resources and conditions to achieve strategic and operational objectives in the area.
- Manage resources (labour & equipment availability) to support short & midterm demand priorities.
- Handle front line Leaders in the different area Operations (Shift Leaders/Team Coordinators).
- Lead and follow-up execution of Strategy priorities in the area.
- Ensure the development and training of the team (administrative, operational, and technical personnel) being completed (Soft and hard skills such as systems, operations processes, problem solving, people management, etc.).
- Drive and implement productivity activities (savings) in the area (Productivity Model & LCI Tools).

- This role gives to the manager exposure to work with different areas within LOM, seeing topics that vary from day to day operation in the area, to brand protection and novelty confidentiality with several departments, and Mexican laws regulation.
- The opportunity to work and collaborate with other departments outside Packing. The chance to directly participate in being a steward of LEGO’s brand protection and novelty confidentiality, proposing/implementing policies that safeguard the brand. Collaborate with LEGO to keep the strong belief that it is one of the best ways for all children to play, have fun and learn through play

Do you have what it takes?
- Professional Career such as Mechanical, Industrial Engineer or related.
- At least 3 years as Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering Manager (exceptions can be made for internal talents).
- Experience to lead and handle administrative, operational and technical employees.
- Knowledge level high in Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge level high in Problem Solving Tools (PDCA, PPS, 8Ds, DMAIC).
- Knowledge level medium-high in Microsoft office tools.
- Travel availability at least once per year.

Nice to have
- Knowledge level medium-high in Minitab program.
- Previous experience working with Power BI.
- Project Management Knowledge.
