**Company Summary**

**Summary**:
Logistics/Shipping agents support operations in all logistics and customer service functions related to product deliveries, planning, scheduling, ordering, transportation, tracking, and reporting.
- The ability to enter orders accurately in the system is a must.
- The Logistics/Shipping Agent will also be responsible for keeping track of the inventory and ensuring that we have the products the customers need in stock.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of claim process and customer service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements
- Monitor supply chain operations
- Manage relationships with carriers and other vendors.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Communication with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc., to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
- Schedule shipments, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Prepare documents for customs clearance
- Implement cost-saving measures

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- Excellent written, and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the shipments.
- Working knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in the supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field
- Experience in the logistics field as a shipping agent or similar role
