Latin America HR Specialist

The HR HR Specialist t at CooperVision is an employee facing role and provides a professional level of partnership to employees and managers. Works closely with HR management in supporting LATAM function carrying out responsibilities in the following areas of Human Resources: employee relations, training, performance management, wage and salary administration, onboarding, policy implementation and interpretation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, employment law compliance and terminations. Previous experience as an HRBP or Senior HR Analyst, preferably in multinational environments.

Knowledge of labor laws in Mexico, Colombia, and Chile

**Experience**:
Minimum3years of human resource generalist/Business Partner experience required

Experience managing end-to-end HR processes

Experience using, Oracle or LinkedIn is a plus

Serve as a business partner to local leaders, providing support on people management, organizational climate, talent acquisition, development, and performance.

HR operations processes - provide administrative support to accurately complete HR transactional processes.

Guide and support employees and managers in system usage of My Cooper modules and functionality.

Process governance/compliance - ensure all compliance transactions are fulfilled.

Maintain accurate HRIS data in the designated countries.

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring necessary paperwork and processes are completed

Employee files - prepare and maintain employee files in accordance with local legal requirements.

Employee survey - Prepare participants list and survey results presentations by business unit, country and region. Owning analytics and reporting including effectiveness of corporate programs

Actively participates in small and large employee groups to communicate company initiatives. Strives to ensure employee understanding of HR programs by regularly generating communication and counseling employees and managers.

Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.

Support recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility, and offboarding processes.

Conduct HR data analysis (turnover, absenteeism, engagement, etc.) and propose corrective actions.

Support leadership development and team training programs.

Participate in regional HR projects, promoting synergy across countries.

Improves manager and employee performance by assisting with identification and clarification of issues, evaluation and implementation of potential solutions to managers and employees

Effectively partner with Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and other HR peers to provide the highest level of service to assigned managers and employees

Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Stays abreast of changes in laws, case law, regulations, policies, and programs relevant to employee relations and employment practices.
