Purpose of the Position: Will implement & create policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment and eliminate workplace hazards, and be in charge of making sure that employees follow the H&S regulations and policies to promote the wellbeing of the team. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: -Responsible for continuously monitoring and adapting safety procedures and operations to ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment for all employees. -Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks -Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections -Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. -Prepares and schedules training for all employees on policies, regulations. Procedures, emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics. -Advise the company’s administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations -Inspect and verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations -Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with guidelines -Analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment. -Monitor the removal of biological, physical or chemical hazards from a workplace. -Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings. -Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed. -Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required. -Performs other related duties as assigned. -Site leader for the EMS -Ensures OSHA standards and safety requirements are met including chemical spill training and documentation handling -Ensure the control on the documentation required by authorities regarding occupational health and safety (environmental licenses and customer requirements). -Performs inspections, logs & registrations to comply with Mexican health and safety regulations.

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; -More than 5 Years of experience on related field. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Professional Competencies -Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies. -Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections. - Experience with ISO 14001 - English Proficient
