Data Quality Analyst

This role is critical in supporting data quality projects and operational initiatives that improve the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of business travel reporting data for GBT clients. Through collaborative engagement with internal and external stakeholders, the role will investigate, resolve, and proactively prevent data quality issues.
What You’ll Do
Conduct comprehensive investigations of data quality issues across multiple data sources and systems
Perform in-depth root cause analysis of data inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies
Systematically document and track data quality issues from initial identification through resolution
Develop and implement strategic corrective actions to address identified data quality challenges
Interact directly with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues, maintain high data quality standards, drive proactive data quality improvements, support ongoing data quality monitoring and comprehensive reporting and develop and maintain robust data quality standards and guidelines
Conduct regular, detailed data quality checks and assessments
Prepare detailed, actionable reports on data quality metrics and findings
Track and report on continuous data quality improvement progress
Build and support data quality dashboards and sophisticated visualizations
Provide strategic recommendations for data quality improvements
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive data quality solutions
Provide training and mentorship on data quality best practices
Identify and drive opportunities to improve data quality processes
Support implementation of sophisticated data quality tools and technologies
Stay at the forefront of emerging data quality trends, technologies, and best practices
What We’re Looking For
Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in both languages
Validated experience in business travel or related industry
Demonstrated expertise in data quality, data analysis, or related roles
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Meticulous attention to detail
Sophisticated proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
Solid understanding of SQL and data manipulation
Outstanding bilingual communication skills
Validated ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
Comprehensive understanding of data governance principles
Sophisticated familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Alteryx, Redshift)
Intermediate programming skills (SQL, Python)
