The Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues. The Business Analyst may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested. **Responsibilities**: - Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests - Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls - Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with procedures and regulations - Monitor the preparation of regular and special budget reports - Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation **Qualifications**: - 0-2 years of relevant experience - Database query knowledge preferred - Proven expertise in Microsoft Office - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education**: - Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. The PMO Bussines Analyst will primarily focus on effectively drives/supports to identified process from the inception of software lifecycle to its delivery in GCT México. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating the different processes around SW lifecycle. Helps to drive tracking and monitoring local and global metrics. He or she will be able to make recommendations, identify inconsistencies, defines processes issues and formulates proposals on procedures or practices as are required. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Knowledge on Agile practices and standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Work with multiple technology users to understand their needs and document requirements - Maintain active communication channels with the different GCT areas around Software lifecycle processes since the inception to the delivery. - Collaborate with technology teams to design and generate metrics to track and improve project managemnet portfolios. - Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. - Prepare training materials. - Ensure best practices are followed **Knowledge/Experience** - Experience with Software Development Lifecycle - Create documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature description PowerPoint decks, user guides, process flows, and wireframes. - Knowledge on process reengineering and continuous improvement techniques - Providing training and support to users - An interest in, and understanding of the following areas: - Project Management - Reporting and Analytics **Skills** - Must be able tointerface with various levels within the organization - Problem and Analytic solving skills (i.e., can conduct root cause analysis, make recommendations and track results) - Ability to quickly establish good working relationships - Self-driven and highly motivated - Strong work ethics. - Capable to adapt constantly to change in demand - Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation **Qualifications**: - B.S./B.A. degree level - +1 years of project management and agile practices - Capable of maintaining English conversations - Excel Skills: ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheests efficiently, and perform calculations and automation process. **Competencies** - Focus on client satisfaction - Operational effectiveness with key metrics in place - Ownership and accountability - Being able to work in a multicultural environment with teams of diverse skill sets - **Job Family Group**: Business Strategy, Management & Administration - **Job Family**: Business Administration - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
