**About the Team**:
The Supply Chain team oversees all aspects from production at our suppliers' location (Asia, Europe & Americas) to inventory management to delivery and optimization of all sales channels (e-commerce marketplaces, direct-to-consumer, brick & mortar delivery, and more).

**About the role**:
We are building up our Supply Chain Team in New York City. As **Quality/Sourcing Manager**, you are responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing and quality management activities such as price, T&C negotiations and to ensure continuity of supply, reduce total costs and prepare for future sourcing challenges for the specific product line/category. You are also responsible for developing a quality management system and process.

**What you will do**:

- Drive the sourcing execution for multi-categories and multi-brands manufactured in the US. Implement supply-based management strategies that lead to source products based on the brand criteria while paying attention to Cost, Quality, Lead-time, on-time delivery, Inventory etc.
- Negotiate price based in-depth understanding of raw material, product and components.
- Develop QMS for US based production
- Implement Supplier Qualification SOP
- Perform regulatory diligence to qualify new suppliers through
- Document requests and review, including without limitation batch production records, product testing, raw materials qualification, equipment validation, and sanitation SOPs and records
- Onsite audits
- Meet with potential targets to assess QMS systems
- Meet with suppliers to potential targets to assess QMS systems
- Perform onsite audits of target suppliers commensurate with risk
- Draft QMS diligence reports and build strategic plans to address QMS issues and correct post acquisition
- Coordinate testing with external laboratories to perform finished product testing
- Monitor project progress and develop corrective actions to keep projects on track. Collaborate with cross functional teams (QC, PD, Purchasing) to continually optimize the process and identify cost reduction/saving opportunities.
- Ensure all supplier quotations and samples are completed on a timely basis for appropriate decision making to meet objectives.
- Select, assess and qualify suppliers and contract fillers, negotiate long-term contracts where applicable and maintain supplier performance.
- Work collaboratively with Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain to determine supplier strategic competencies.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain/operations management or engineering.
- 10+ years relevant working experience in Purchasing, Sourcing and Quality Management in supply chain and manufacturing, with specific knowledge and industry experience in beauty/ personal care/ and supplements.
- Strong Project Management skills and experience.
- Strong presentation and writing skills. Excellent communication skills and thorough understanding of cross-cultural communications.
- Handle day to day work challenges confidently; willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change; Showing resilience in the face of constraints, frustrations.
- Ability to work independently, establishing priorities, setting goals and decision making.
- Good negotiation skills in working with suppliers on product and price.
- Strong production knowledge, good understanding of specifications, components and construction in personal care home care and nutritional supplements.
