**Job Description**:
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Perform, summarize and report out work measurements or different kind of time studies to improve productivity and overall equipment efficiency.
- Plan and lead implementation of Lean Manufacturing Practices (VSM, standard job, plan-for-every-part, one-piece-flow, etc.) to reduce cost, improve performance in constrained areas and achieve delivery expectations.
- Support New Product Introductions, transfers and expansions by layout design, material handling solutions, time study (takt time, constraint, cycle time, assembler interactions), capacity and labor scenarios.
- Perform analysis of forecast, equipment utilization and installed capacity, define and lead capital or productivity projects based on requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to manufacturing engineers, supervisors, pca, regarding IE fundamentals.
- Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:

- B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Industrial engineer or equivalent work experience.
- Must have +5 years of practical work experience as Industrial engineer, lean specialist or continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of IE fundamentals (layout planning and design, work measurement, capacity and utilization analysis, material handling, ergonomics,
- Self-starter must be able to work with little direction and with a high level of self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated superior communication (written and verbal), teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCad, etc
- Ability to lead others.
