**About the job**

Accounts Payable Analyst is a member of the Accounts Payable Team in the Region and works inside the Global Accounting Services for SAS, reporting to the Supervisor of Accounts Payable in Latin America. The position is based in Mexico and the main activities are to ensure the quality for all the Supplier maintenance, Procurement, Third-Party and Intercompany invoices processing, Payments and accounting processes, creating efficiencies

**As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will**:

- Processing Accounts Payable tasks in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain Supplier Portal for Invoices receipt and fiscal validation.
- Preparing, recording, analysis, and reporting of payables accounting transactions accurately and in compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Enhance procurement, third-party and Intercompany payments by providing clear follow up with Suppliers and involved departments.
- Reconciles accounting information.
- Maintain Accounts Payable aging, perform daily invoices processing effort, and process payments on a timely basis.
- Maintains accurate accounting records and compiles reports, as needed.
- Maintaining accurate supplier accounts by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
- Resolving problems, completing audits, testing, and implementing system improvements.
- Collaborate in the Oracle Fusion’s implementation project for the Region on the Accounts Payable module, ensuring consistency with the statutory and business requirements.

**Required Qualifications**
- You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or administration.
- Courses and diploma in Taxes, Accounting, Controlling, Project Management, Finance, etc.
- 2 years of experience in Accounting and/or Accounts Payable.
- Intermediate English level
