Job Summary

Job summary:

- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _
- Quality Engineer_
- located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Quality. Quality Engineer role involves_ working on
_maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation._
- _ Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data._
- _ Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost._
- _ Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability._
- _ Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities._
- _ Holds up Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues._
- _ Assures data availability and integrity for all quality related data. Consolidates and reports quality results._
- _ Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion._
- _ Assists with development and implementation of quality audits._
- _ In charge of developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products._
- _ Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment._
- _ Explores reports and returned products and recommends corrective action._
- _ Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and research of equipment and facilities._
- _ Approves product, process and equipment qualifications._
- _ Provides liaison to various regulatory bodies._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ Experience in manufacturing and electronics industry required._
- _ Strong experience as Quality engineer with: SMT and PTH._
- _ Strong operations knowledge on PCBs: inspection, testing and evaluation experience._
- _ BA/BS or equivalent work experience._
- _ Strong experience with Quality _Development/Integration_ tools._
- _ Corrective actions._
- _ Assembly processes knowledge._
- _ Advanced English_
- _ Intermediate-advanced_ excel._
- _ Experience with Databases: statistics and analyze._
