Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

**Role Purpose**:
Coordinate and monitor the security of the Corning Cable Optical Communications Campus plants in Apodaca.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Coordinate and monitor all security systems located in the Plant’s **Security Operations Center**, including:

- CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television)
- Access Control (Lenel)
- Alarm Responses
- Remote Monitoring
- Visitors and Contractors
- Compliance with C-TPAT regulations
- Gates and entrances throughout the building
- Social media monitoring
- Labor activism monitoring
- Support in investigations
- Control of building door keys
- Documentation of daily GS activities
- Timely communication of incidents to management
- Handling high call volume at the monitoring center

Maintain continuous surveillance of the external environment to detect indicators and threats.

Coordinate risk situations and emergencies.

**Experiences/Education - Required**:

- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Moderate job content knowledge

**Experiences/Education - Desired**:

- Bachelors Degree
- Successful track record of performance in chosen field
- 1-3 years relevant work experience
