**Your responsibilities**:
MISSION OF THE POSITION:
Manage the supplier portfolio, carrying out effective negotiations for authorized acquisitions,
following the provisions of the procedures of the department, the organization as well as the constant search for supply opportunities to the competitiveness.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out negotiations (domestic/international) for the areas under his responsibility. Comply with the delivery times for direct purchases of spare parts and MRO items. Follow up on market indicators, including the annual premises (knowledge of related markets). Maintain the payable portfolio above 45 days. Coordinate the acquisitions (per item or per program) for the areas under his responsibility. Coordinate and follow up on the preparation of commercial contracts.
- Look for supply opportunities to improve competitiveness. Train Jr. Buyers in the activities of the purchasing department.
**Your profile**:
We seek one Senior buyer to join our Acquisitions team.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- English fluency.
- 5 or more years of experience in acquisitions for assembly line operations (desirable autoparts industry).
- Experience in Cost analysis.
- Advance negotiation skills with International suppliers.
- Knowledge of international logistics that impact transit times and purchases.
- Supplier development.
