Summary:
Responsible for providing strategic direction for Chronic business in Latin America North. Solid ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data.
Responsibilities include P&L management, marketing plans, life cycle management and promotional plans, additional to ensure monitoring of commercial strategies, promoting the efficiency, development, motivation, and competitiveness of the team in charge.
Collaborates with functional areas to guarantee deployment strategy and execution, strengthening relations with all the channels, segments, and customers that the territory includes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
- Develop strategic marketing direction for product lines that includes:
Market intelligence, Competitive intelligence, Patient journey, Funding flow, Market Segmentation, Targeting strategy, Market access and medical strategic priorities, Strategic objectives, Price strategy, Tactical plan, financial plan (sales, opex, sgp´s), Life cycle management strategy (LCM)
- Ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies, based on KPI´s monitoring.
Strategy deployment by commercial team, Monitoring leads and lags metrics through salesforce, provide feedback to Sales Regional Managers based on KPI´s results, follow up of sales opportunities (Funnel), Fieldwork with commercial area, define leased hardware strategy and follow up productivity.
- Lead the consistent communication of messages across portfolios
- Ability to develop and execute communication plans, messaging and branding campaigns, ensuring compliance of internal and external guidance for promotional materials
- Develops and implements incentive programs in coordination with Sales Manager for the sales force designed to assure overall sales, key product sales.
- Follow up on execution of the commercial plans of each line of business.
- Responsible for defining price and negotiations with each client, according to the price guidelines and strategy established by each business line.
- Develop and implement promotional marketing programs across product lines.
- Develop communications strategy, and oversee its implementation, including handling integrated marketing agency.
- Provide input in Volume, ASP, Sales, Marketing expenses, Capex for all financial processes.
- Monitor P&L performance to ensure that the business unit meets financial objectives.
- Provide volume forecast for SOP process.
- Provide marketing input into Business Development initiatives throughout evaluation.
- Assures adequate training for Therapy Specialists and Key Account Executive and additional personnel that support the business with product knowledge.
- Define and monitor HCP educational programs and KOL´s plans as well as Build relationship with relevant medical associations.
- Strengthen political map and relationships with clients according to the segmentation of each business line.
- Provide guidance and monitor Market access and Regulatory affairs plans.
- Coordinate customer access with Medical Affairs and Market Access according to the strategy of each line of business.
- Build long-term relationships with key clients in the region, through generating innovative solutions that meet their economic and clinical needs.

- Conduct high-level negotiations with decision makers, demonstrating the benefits of the Baxter portfolio.
- Promote the development and retention of talent, facilitating the personal and professional growth of its members with adequate coaching, support in the field and with a career development plan.
- Promote a culture of compliance with standards and ethical business practices in the organization.
