As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of Smart Power in Electrification business in Apodaca. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**This position reports to**:
Production Development Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement with projects.
- Previous experience with Software design.
- 1 year of experience in similar positions.
- Intermediate English level.
