Financial Bookkeeper and Inventory Manager

**Responsibilities**:
**1) Bookkeeping**:
- Maintain accurate financial records and books.
- Record financial transactions in accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.
**2) Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
- Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts.
**3) Financial Reporting**:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate financial reports for management review.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
**4) Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in preparing documents for audits.
- File tax returns and other necessary financial documents.
**5) Inventory Tracking**:
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Inspect levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages.
- Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
- Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.
**6) Inventory Control**:
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
- Manage reordering processes to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for inventory procurement.
- Communicate with the Operations Manager to place orders to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.
- Analyze data to anticipate future needs.
- Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
**7) Inventory Reporting**:
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
**8) Logistics Coordination**:
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory.
- Manage inventory storage and organization to optimize space and accessibility.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and damaged goods appropriately.
**9) Process Improvement**:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in bookkeeping and inventory management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into current processes.
**10) Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure accurate and efficient

- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any issues related to bookkeeping or inventory.
**11) System Management**:
- Utilize and maintain bookkeeping and inventory management software.
- Train staff on the proper use of financial and inventory systems.
**Requirements and Skills**:
- Experience and Knowledge:
- Proven experience as an inventory manager or similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Working knowledge of inventory management software.Skills:
- Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
- An analytical mind with strong math skills.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
**Education**:
- BSc/BA in business administration, accounting, logistics, or relevant field.
Pay: $30,373.20 - $40,497.60 per month
