We are passionate, mission-oriented, and results-driven, and we are now searching for a top-notch Overseas Bookkeeper and Collections Specialist to join our team**Position Details**Immigration law firm in Oakland, California seeks talented and experienced bookkeeper/collections specialist to join our remote team**Position Responsibilities**- Post, verify, and maintain financial transactions in various databases- Create, update, and edit invoices in our practice management software (Clio).- Enter all client payments and firm expenses into QuickBooks Online and Clio.- Download and enter credit card/bank transactions.- Collect on monthly and overdue invoices.- Prepare monthly AR reports and add late fees to invoices.- Handle client inquiries regarding payments, invoices, and completed legal work with a calm, professional demeanor and always with a smile.- You should know how to spot any potential financial inconsistencies, identify the cause(s), and solve the financial inconsistencies.- Help admin team with tasks as they arise.- Reconcile accounts- Run monthly financial reports- Notify senior staff of any accounting errors.**Position Requirements**- Fluent in English and Spanish since the bookkeeper will be speaking with clients in both languages- A 4-year bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience in a similar bookkeeping role- Have 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online (proficient to expert level).- Expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Team, etc).- Strong written and oral communication skills- Be extremely disciplined with schedule and tasks- Feel confident in money conversations with clients- Be able to perform extremely detailed work and not miss any steps- Consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.- Take constructive feedback well and implement quickly- Love working with numbers and entering data with precision- The ability to organize and interpret data- Comfortable dealing with large volumes of complex data- Knowledge of IOLTA/trust accounting is a big plus (but we can train)As an organization, we look for the following CORE VALUES in our team members:Client **E**xperienceGrowth **M**indset**P**assion for ExcellenceTakes **O**wnership**W**in TogetherBe the **E**xample**R**esults-Driven**About Us**:Landerholm Immigration A.P.C is a fast-growing immigration law firm based in Oakland, California.
