We are looking for a Data Analyst, Trust and Safety Content to support our Trust & Safety team, which focuses on reducing risk in our marketplace. Your team’s work is foundational to Etsy’s dedication to providing world-class customer support and a safe, trusted marketplace for the millions of buyers and sellers in the Etsy community.

As a Data Analyst, Trust and Safety Content partnered with Trust & Safety you will work to consistently deliver clear insights while providing access to metrics, data, and tools needed for decision-making and optimization at all levels of the organization. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, Trust and Safety Content Analytics. - The Trust & Safety Analytics team partners closely with leads across Trust & Safety and Product & Engineering to craft policy, ensure business goals are met or exceeded, and manage the rapidly changing environment of platform risks.
- More broadly, the Analytics team at Etsy helps drive the success of our partners by providing meaningful insights, industry-leading measurement techniques, and access to the metrics, data, and tools needed for decision-making and optimization. We partner with our peers through all stages of development: identifying initial opportunities, analyzing the impact of our efforts, and highlighting improvement areas. Ultimately, the team’s work strengthens Etsy and helps continuously improve the Etsy experience.

**What does the day-to-day look like?**
- You will use data analysis to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in trust and safety measures.
- You will conduct analysis to fulfill regulatory requirements.
- You will fulfill ad hoc Trust and Safety analytics requests from partners.
- You will lead analyses to inform internal reporting on Trust and Safety efforts.

**Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are**:

- 2+ years of proven success as a data analyst focused on supporting teams with data access, reporting, and insights.
- Successful track record of distilling highly complex problems into narratives that are concise, action focused, and memorable, and express your recommendations with both conviction and finesse.
- High proficiency with advanced analytical techniques and SQL.
- Ability to communicate insights verbally, visually, and in writing.
- A trust in and commitment to Etsy’s vision, mission and values.
- An ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment, easily adapting to new platform risks and using data-driven insights to guide decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
