**Business Development Manager**

**Position Summary**:
**Essential Position Functions**:

- In partnership with senior leader, develop semi-annual sales plans to implement promotional, new business and other marketing activities to maximize sales profitability and growth for assigned accounts.
- Participate in the development of new products, programs, or services to increase market share for responsible product lines.
- Develop best in class standards for product content including imagery, specifications, and cross sell/up sell.
- Develop strong, synergistic working relationship work with other cross functional teams to develop required support materials for accounts, pricing and promotion strategies, online outreach, and product expansion.
- Develop processes to evaluate account satisfaction to respond more effectively to accounts’ sales needs.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Engineering leaders to define priorities and roadmaps to execute on the strategy.
- Examine and notify Company of competitive products, promotional sales, selling techniques, pricing, warranties, and marketing policies.
- Maintain accurate and current account contact and activity records through CRM.
- Evaluate performance results on both accounts and specific activities.
- Provide results reporting as required.
**Education/ Experience**:

- 3-5 years of business ecommerce, merchandising or sales-related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Management experience is a plus.
- Strong relationship builder.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Robust presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, CRM & Excel.
Travel required—as necessary
