Title: Senior Revenue Accountant
Grade: 11
Location: Mexico City
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for revenue and revenue-related accounts.
- Maintain revenue deferral spreadsheets, ensuring that revenue is deferred and subsequently released in a timely fashion.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and analyze reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
- Ensure compliance with U.S GAAP and company policies through regular review and analysis of revenue transactions and revenue-related accounts.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing accurate and timely financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and streamline processes.
- Coordinate information flow between NCR Voyix senior management, Business Units, and Global Business Service teams.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not required.
- Public accounting experience a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud).
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to manage and make progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional oral/written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Advanced English level.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English as the working language.
- Highly motivated self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and change.
- Experience working with tight deadlines and successfully handling multiple priorities simultaneously with mínimal direct supervision.
- Excellent work ethic - high standard of performance and production.
