RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Procurement NAM Transportation Jr. Buyer - Temporary located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, MX

The Procurement NAM Transportation Jr. Buyer will be responsible for coordinate and source the total spends under scope of responsibility in line with projects and business objectives according to RHI Magnesita processes

Optimize and decrease total costs of ownership of transport and logistics purchases through strategy building contribution. And ensure perfect use of sourcing tools and spend reporting

- time will report to the Procurement Mexico Transportation

**The Procurement NAM Transportation Jr. Buyer's tasks include**:

- ** 6 - 9 months contract / cover maternity**:

- Support Transportation Mexico (Contact with suppliers and users)
- Ensure sourcing execution according to company standards and expectations
- Support on the bidding process, make sure information goes through, confirm suppliers, track responses, and get information consolidated for analysis purpose
- Select and control services suppliers for handlings at ports to optimize processes and reduce ownership costs
- Support on the daily requirements that may come with the 3rd Party Warehouses and Offices
- Ensure sourcing administration performance
- Support on registering new suppliers through SAP ARIBA
- Support on Spot requests
- Makes sure that suppliers selected are compliant with RHI Magnesita ethic code
- Processing orders from customers and resolving complaints
- Advising customers on product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc
- Acting as liaison between customers, production, and distribution departments
- Selecting, managing, and training on sales related systems and databases
- Assisting sales teams with individual account and sales territory planning

**About you**

Do you have:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain or related
- 1 year of experience in Transportation, Supply Chain, Procurement is required
- Skills in MS OFFICE: Excel
- Proficiency in database creation/management, ERP systems, SAP or SAP T
- Negotiation, strategic planning, organized and focused on results
- Overall Import / Export process knowledge is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Solid knowledge and understanding of supply chain management or transport processes, policy, and systems
- Strategic Thinking and Action
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Think outside the box
