**About the role**

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe ground. People on the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from app technology, through Treasury and Finance, all the way to Customer Support.

We’re looking for a Risk Manager who'll build our business credit portfolio. An expert in making data-driven decisions with good business intuition on risk-adjusted return requirements. You'll lead the initiative for preventive and reactive actions towards any factors impacting portfolio credit performance and profitability.

**What you'll be doing**
- Managing Revolut’s exposure to retail credit risk across global markets, including Colombia, Brazil, Australia, Singapore, and Mexico
- Designing, developing and implementing retail credit risk models in collaboration with the Risk Modelling team
- Evaluating and optimising credit strategies in expansion markets, ensuring alignment with Revolut’s risk appetite
- Managing risk appetite through the calibration, monitoring and governance of limits
- Maintaining and enhancing key risk policies, procedures, and control frameworks
- Partnering with first-line functions (e.g. Underwriting, Fraud Prevention, Collections) to improve credit performance and reduce losses
- Conducting ongoing portfolio monitoring and performance analytics to identify trends and inform strategy
- Engaging with business leaders to identify, monitor and govern emerging retail credit risks, including through new product risk assessments
- Representing Retail Credit Risk in interactions with internal stakeholders, senior management committees, and regional regulators
- Quantifying risk exposures, balancing financial, regulatory, and reputational considerations
- Identifying and escalating emerging credit risks impacting portfolio performance or business growth
- Championing a strong risk culture and ensuring all credit activities remain within approved risk appetite
- Supporting Revolut’s commitment to external stakeholders by maintaining a reputation for responsible and forward-thinking risk management

**What you'll need**
- 7+ years of experience managing retail credit risk, ideally across international markets
- Proven track record of managing through-the-cycle credit risk for retail products such as credit cards and unsecured personal loans
- Solid understanding of credit policy governance frameworks and the ability to navigate the three lines of defence model
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk regulations, methodologies, and emerging regulatory issues
- Deep understanding of credit and behavioural scoring models, particularly for retail credit products
- A clear, concise, and structured approach to work with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple, digestible manner
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making skills
- Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and manage competing priorities effectively
- Data-driven mindset and approach to problem solving, with analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact results and resolving roadblocks
- Proficiency in SQL is mandatory; knowledge of Python or other programming languages is a strong plus
