Business Intelligence Specialist

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
Role:
The position is to work as a BI ETL Operations resource for a support engagement.
**Duties**:
- Developing Informatica PowerCenter mappings between source and target systems and data sources.
- Writing, troubleshooting and performance tuning of SQL statements
- Issue resolution and bug fixing of existing code
- Documenting unit testing/enhancement as required.
Experience required:
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work fully remote
- Must have recent experience using Informatica PowerCenter ETL tool with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Must have developed complex Informatica PowerCenter mappings between source and target systems and data sources.
- Must be flexible for 24*7 production support on a rotational basis.
- Advanced knowledge in writing, troubleshooting and performance tuning of SQL statements
- Be able to demonstrate proficiency in problem solving and diagnosing errors in a systematic way
- Experience with relational databases Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server (prefer Teradata database).
- Experience in BI Analytics and Data Warehouse concepts.
- Experience performing and documenting unit testing/enhancement as and when required.
- Basic BI Reporting tools knowledge such as Tableau and Cognos will be a plus.
