The Production Manager is responsible for managing various production teams and activities in the production and manufacturing floor. This individual must be able implement and drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across the production operations and ensure all projects are delivered in a safe manner, at the highest quality standards, while maintaining budgetary guidelines and strict deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective team leadership during times of change and production ramp up.
- Responsible for production activities in a manufacturing environment with the goal to develop and implement system-level/strategic solutions to optimize efficiency and resource utilization, increase safety levels, minimize costs and maintain high quality standards
- Coordinate team activities to optimize cost performance, optimizing operations and minimizing waste through the development of a continuous-improvement culture that includes Lean Six Sigma methodology, 5S, and Kaizen principles to mention a few.
- Build a strong production management team, providing a balanced focus between strategic, tactical and operational activities through exceptional servant leadership, while providing a clear vision and inspiring staff to achieve excellence.
- Proactively work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, EHS, QA, etc. incorporating best practices into the manufacturing environment.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on manufacturing activities.
- Meet business objectives and productions schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customer’s expectations.
- Lead manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports strategic initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Engineering Bachelor’s degree
- 8 + years’ experience as Manufacturing/Production Manager (or progressive roles)
- Bilingual skills Spanish / English are necessary (written and spoken)
- Experience in machining / milling process preferred
- Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and six sigma knowledge preferred

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:

- machining / milling: 1 year (preferred)
- Production Management: 8 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
