Responsibilities: *Provide manufacturing, process and equipment support, direction, expertise, and effort in specific manufacturing areas. The focus is on meeting plant objectives in safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost. *Review, develop, implement, and review all processes and procedures within the assigned manufacturing areas to ensure continuous improvement activities. This includes implementing and maintaining lean principles (e.g., value stream mapping and line rebalancing), in more than one area, with proven results as indicated by plant metrics (BSC, AOP, and other department metrics). It also includes the use of ACP, participation in audit programs and implementation of engineering changes. Be well informed of PFMEA and control plan activities to meet deadlines. *Prepares Preventive Maintenance Plans in conjunction with the Engineering, Quality and Production Departments. *Analyzes Current Production Processes, New Product Plans and discusses equipment needs and modifications with the Engineering Department and Quality and Production Personnel. Supervises Facilities or Modifies Machinery and Equipment for New Production Processes or to Assist in Current Production Processes.
- Analyzes Production, Quality and Maintenance Reports and Statistics to Plan, Develop, Recommend, and Implement new methods and procedures designed to Improve Operation, Minimize Operating Costs and Optimize Work and Material Use.
- Enable team members to use tools such as effective meetings, consensus building, coaching, problem solving, audits, and feedback to meet team and plant goals.
Experiência y requisitos
Requirements: Experience as a maintenance manager or other managerial role Experience in planning maintenance operations. Solid knowledge of the technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc. Working knowledge of plant, machine and equipment. Ability to track and report on activity. Understanding and monitoring compliance (industry standards, occupational safety regulations, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and leadership skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering, industrial, Mechatronic, to fines.
