Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Project Manager_ located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to the Senior Director Program Management, Project Manager role is responsible for increasing profitable revenue growth in all Business Groups and to create value for our customers by working with other teams to consistently provide professional quotes in support of our strategic business initiatives and managing projects in order to meet performance indicators (cost, delivery, quality, etc.)._
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Act as the point of contact throughout the quotation process and overall management of the quotation._
- _ Establish project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements._
- _ Coordinate quoting activity and allocate adequate resources to the quote activity._
- _ Ensure accurate, timely responses to customer quotations._
- _ Review, evaluate, and approve quotations for content and cost evaluation._
- _ Possess financial and P&L knowledge, as well as product costing knowledge._
- _ Responsible for data inputs that drive metrics and track business wins/losses_
- _ Produce final proposal documents._
- _ Liaise with business development managers, global account managers, and senior management for pricing approval._
- _ Maintain project plan documents, procedures, and project deliverables._
- _ Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc._
- _ Provide advice to Project/Product Managers to achieve financial goals in accordance with established policies (Price reviews, Quote vs Actuals, Profit Improvement Plan, etc)._
- _ Interact frequently with customers and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management; frequently interact with middle management and professionals._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ BA/BS degree._
- _ Requires strong experience in program _administration/finance/_ management or related area._
- _ Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site._
- _ Strong customer (external and internal) relationship and negotiation skills._
- _ Advanced English level._
- _ Advanced MS Office._
- _ Establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site._
- _ P&L responsibility for the function._
- _ Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives._
- _ Provides strategic leadership for the function and the site._
