Principal Quality Systems Technician

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring the integrity of the Quality System documents and its Standard Operating
- Procedures (SOP's) and processing documents. This includes ensuring documentation complies with Quality Systems requirements, document alignment and documentation relationships are accurately maintained.
- Providing review, issuance and processing of Quality Systems documents in document control system
- Providing leadership for document control system upgrades, point releases,
- configuration requests and corrective actions.
- Ensuring records conform to regulatory requirements.
Leading continuous improvement activities within the Quality System to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Providing guidance and direction to associates for creating/revising documentation and other Quality System related topics as applicable
- Develops and implements tools and best practices to encourage an environment for sharing and preserving records and information that are reliable, trustworthy, and complete; and promotes and implements record and information keeping practices that meet the legal, regulatory, business and operational requirements
- Performs advanced tests and analyses to assure that products comply with established specifications. Carries out complex calculations and documents test results. Writes and/or reviews complex technical reports, develops charts, graphs, schematics and drawings to illustrate improvement processes.
- Ensures tools and test equipment are properly calibrated and repaired according to standard operating procedures. Makes recommendations on improving quality, efficiency, cost of company product(s), processes, and/or productivity techniques.
- Ensures all documentation is recorded properly and follows corporate standard operating procedures.
**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**
- 4 years experience with document & data management systems & processes in FDA & ISO regulated environment, preferred.
- 2 years' experience focused on electronic document & data management preferred.
- 2 year experience with creating and revising documents.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES**
- Ensures and maintain a state of Quality System inspection readiness.
- Coordinate change control documentation process.
- Provide support to internal audit process. Serve as SME for internal and external audits as applicable.
- Prepare, edit & process documentation in support of regulatory & corporate configuration management requirements
- Process documents, drawings, scans, work instructions, training documents in support of regulatory, site & corporate configuration management requirements.
- Support changes to the filing, archival & retrieval systems
- Monitors noncompliance issues and compiles information for management.
