At Brown Forman we are looking for a Data Mining analyst capable of processing and analyzing great volumes of data and generating insights and recommendations. Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Data Mining analyst is responsible for consolidating information from the Distributor Development channel coming from the clients, managers, and distribution executives. They
transform the data and generate reports to support the decision-making process of the operational activities from the channel, and the Commercial Finance team.
What You Can Expect:
- Execute and automate ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading information) procedures to aggregate the information generated by the Distributor Development channel.- Development and maintenance of operational Dashboards in Tableau based on general sales information and market information.- Develop inference models to forecast end-of-month sales.- Provide recommendations based on data analysis: budget allocation, savings generation, sales increase, improvement of distribution indicators, sales quotas for contests, etc.- Conduct market visits to validate the execution of activities and increase the understanding and needs of the Distributor Development channel.- Generate business information reports required by the channel: distribution KPI´S, inventories, sell out, sell In and sales budgets. Communication and presentation of results and validation of opportunities for improvement.- Measure the results and profitability of the Distributor Development channel and trade marketing activities.- Actively contribute to the development or the implementation of projects related to the channel strategy.
What Exactly Are We Looking For?:
- Advanced office management (Access and Excel).- Data and business process analytics.- Experience with business intelligence software such as Tableau or Power BI.- Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading information) procedures.- Teamwork.- Excellent oral and written communication.- Vision, leadership, initiative, and proactivity.- Results-driven, analytically minded, decision-making capabilities and problem-solving skills.- Time management skills.- Attention to detail.
What You Can Add to the Team:
- English intermediate (desirable).- Familiarity with R, Python or any general-purpose or statistical programming language.- Knowledge of the Direct Store Delivery channel is a plus.- Familiarity and understanding of NIELSEN and ISCAM databases is desirable.
