Your tasks

Lead, control and organize the engineering processes in the plant to ensure that on time, qualitative and quantitative delivery of products and solutions to the customer is ensured. Ensure that serial technologies are running as needed while at the same time future technologies (e.g. smart factory, AI/Big data Analysis, Production technologies, 3D Printing, Robotics, usage of Mobile wearable devices, etc...) are (further) developed and implemented within the plant. Competency development, networking within location and within BU for all IE related functions is key.
- He/She is steering all activities of the industrial engineering, based on the BU and plant strategy.
- He/She steers, controls and manages internal IE KPI's.
- He/She defines the needed resources for the industrial engineering, and manages to get available these resources. He takes care about the cost-efficient usage of all available resources.
- He/She is contributing to the continuous improvement of the management system, with setting-up and optimizing procedures and policies in the field of responsibility.
- He/She is participating in the strategic and operative planning of the plant, with investment-, manufacturing time-, capacity
- and direct headcount planning.
- Build, develop/ coach and retain a diverse team
- Ensure a continous knowledge and competency management as well as human resources development; teaches and coaches the team to further develop the organization
- Develop successors and define development plans of the employees & steer the implementation

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in production or engineering management, industrial engineering or related discipline
- Experience:

- In manufacturing, preferable in two functional areas, e.g. IE, Q, Operations, etc. (at least 5 years)
- In respected business industry (approx. 2 years)
- Respective production processes
- In the roll-out of a standard and/ or strategic project
- In a leadership position, preferably in operational units with direct and indirect responsibility for other individuals (at lest 3 years)
- Working with international teams and preferably international assignment
- Understanding for different foreign cultures
- Cross move (functional, international or organizational) experience
