Around the developing world, the vast majority of the economy is driven by small, often informal micro-businesses.

These businesses have been ignored both by banks and fintechs, given the challenges to underwrite and serve.

We use AI to bring both business credit and payments to micro-businesses across the globe - starting with Latin America.

We launched a credit card in Mexico last year, have over 10,000 small business customers, recently launched a small business loan product, and are expanding into payments this year.

Our vision is to use AI to automate every part of our business - from acquisition, to underwriting, to credit line upgrades, to collections - in order to serve millions of micro-businesses around the world in a scalable and profitable way.

Our team is run by a very small (currently 8 person) team of extremely talented, mission-driven, data focused engineers and business leaders - including a CEO/co-founder who is a successful former VC and multi-exit fintech founder, and team members with decades of combined experience at leading fintechs across the US and Mexico.

We are backed by top venture investors across the US and Mexico, and have raised over $6M in venture capital.

This role will begin as a paid consultant, and can grow to include very meaningful equity compensation.

**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a hard-working and highly entrepreneurial growth marketing consultant to lead our growth marketing work. You will be a critical part of our leadership team.

Your primary responsibility is to build a highly cost effective and highly scalable acquisition engine that drives our business.

As part of this, your responsibilities will be to:

- Lead multiple kinds of marketing campaigns - including performance and organic, as well as referral programs - at a very large scale
- Run experiments to continuously optimize and improve performance - relative to cost and scale targets
- Build and continually adapt new websites, landing pages, video and other media - including sourcing and managing third-party content creators as needed
- A/B test multiple approaches
- Leading major parts of product management - especially pertaining to activation / onboarding, including writing user stories, roadmaps, and working with engineers
- Communicate performance to stakeholders
- Be an integral part of the leadership team and shape strategy and operations approach

You will also be responsible for key components of product management - especially activating our customers, and closely tracking and improving CAC - including a major component focused on optimizing our referral program.

**Requirements**:

- A stellar track record across 5-8+ years of growth marketing
- Very strong preference for leadership work at leading consumer/smb Mexico based fintech lenders (loans or credit cards) - or consulting to these startups at leading agencies
- Highly fluent in business English & Spanish
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end campaign execution - from idea to design to execution to A/B testing
- Experienced working with leading analytics and advertising platforms
- Ideally experience in mocking up and coding landing pages directly
- Ideally some product management experience - including writing user stories, roadmaps, and working with engineers
- Strong preference for previous experience working in fintech particularly with bottom-of-the-pyramid customers
- Previous work experience at a startup or other fast moving, highly entrepreneurial work environment
