**Job Description**:
The Manager, General Accounting is responsible for coordinating and managing the general accounting function, concerning primarily the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and the resultant financial statements.

Responsibilities.
- Manages the close process, including coordination with Corporate, developing the close calendar, and analysis and variance reporting.
- Oversees the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements and, ensures they are distributed in a timely manner.
- Provides and, interprets data from accounting records as required from management.
- Coordinates accounting services and integrates with operating needs.
- Coordinates audit processes and requirements
- Month end close reporting.
- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
- Control of expenses and detection of differences with respect to budget.
- Application of accounting local and foreign rules.
- Knowledge of budget process.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, and experience. Requires at least 6 years related experience. CPA or equivalent preferred. Requires advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices. Ability to lead and manage a team. Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
