Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsibilities include ensuring that all products produced meet or exceed quality standards as specified in drawings.
- Responsible for identifying and raising quality issues and for speedily resolving them by using the QMS tools.
- Ensure inspection control plans in SAP are implemented effectively and maintained.
- Support new product introduction through the First Article Inspection and production readiness review meetings. Document as required.
- Identify critical characteristics of the product and the process that needs to be measured and controlled.
- Supervise and provide support to QA In-Process / Final Inspectors regarding drawings, specifications and product acceptance or rejection criteria and measurement methods.
- Follow up Customer Claims and coordinate containment and permanent corrective action.
- Support investigation and causes and following up to CAPA implementation and closure with 8D, 5 WHYS, FISHBONE, PFMEA, Quality alerts.
- Maintain the Quality Training Matrix assisting with training of all quality related procedures.
- Create and monitor reports to support quality related key performance indicators. Paretos of defects, control plans, COQ, etc.
- Provide internal and external audit support participating in quality audits when required, to sustain ISO certification.
- Work in a TEAM environment to develop & implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements.
- Provide IPC-620 & IPC-610, ASME Y14.5., CMM, FARO, GD&T, System Level Test or equivalent trainings when required.
- Support the MRB process with critical analyses and by offering potential disposition options as needed through SAP QN process providing investigation, root cause, tasks implementation, and monitoring of effectiveness as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

- Four-year college degree in Electronic Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or 5 + years equivalent experience.
- 3 or more years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in an electronic and/or metal mechanic manufacturing quality driven industry.
- 80% bi-lingual including both verbal and written English. 100% preferable.
- Makes data driven decisions and develops sustainable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically.
- Must have experience and knowledge in IPC-610, 620 & or J-STD-001 as required.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Must be organized, a strong communicator, detail-oriented, flexible and cooperative in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a machine shop environment is highly preferred when Metal Mechanic Quality Engineer is required able to read and understand mechanical drawings using ASME Y14.5. CMM, FARO, GD&T proficient when required.
