**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
Position is responsible for processing direct and indirect invoices for company vendors. This position is also responsible for managing the activity related to intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations.

**Essential Functions**:

- Primary contact for all inter-company activity related to accounts payable including pricing, account reconciliation, quarterly sign-offs, etc.
- Process vendor invoices, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and reconcile vendor accounts.
- Prepare and process month end journal entries.
- Assist in performing month end accounts payable jobs and preparing monthly account reconciliations.
- Support organization’s process improvement projects.

**Knowledge**:

- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Possesses advanced knowledge of Accounts Payable processes.
- Possesses a working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating in an SAP environment is a plus.
- Experience performing in a high volume accounts payable setting.

**Skills**:

- Possesses solid analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Possesses excellent organization skills.

**Skills**:

- Must be capable of working independently.
- Self starter that takes initiative in all aspects of the job.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
- Capable of performing as an effective team member.
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Possesses the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Business required.
