Purpose of the position: Sonova Mexico is seeking a Supply Chain & Planning Manager who engages in all aspects of Supply Planning, including purchasing, logistics, materials master data, planning, and fulfillment. This professional is also responsible for assisting in optimizing the Supply Chain and inventory levels across Sonova Mexico site with a close collaboration with Regional Leadership and other Sonova OCs, enhancing processes and technology in order to optimize the cost, maximizing customer satisfaction, and enhancing the value added services. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: -Responsible for determining and evaluating strategies including purchasing, inventory storage, and materials management. -Minimize inventory levels and obsolete inventory costs -Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services -Manage Buyers and Site buying function -Manage Maquila reporting function -Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements -Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency -Collaborating with other managers to determine supply needs -Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs -Identify and implement cost reduction, process improvements, and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives -Continually investigates and deploys new technologies and processes in order to improve our supply chain capabilities -Active participation forecasting and planning for product launches and phase outs -Provides system expertise and owns data integrity in our systems (SAP, WMS, etc.) -Other responsibilities as requested by Management.

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelors Degree in related field -Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain -Strong analytical skills -Strong independent thinker with excellent organizational and planning skills -Excellent communication skills and able to lead cross-functional teams -Effective Communication -Exceptional MRP knowledge -Solid understanding of working in a global corporate structure. - SAP experience - Experience on Pull System & Kanban implementation -Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Desirable: -Supply Chain accreditation -Medical Industry experience a plus -Experience in Lean Manufacturing
