Purpose
Oversee the implementation and management of financial accounting systems, primarily focusing on SAP S4HANA
Key Work Activities
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA for finance operations.
Manage Blackline for financial reconciliations and ensure its effective integration with SAP S/4HANA.
Oversee the multi-bank connectivity systems to ensure seamless integration with banking partners.
Provide strategic and operational IT support to the Business Finance function.
Collaborate with finance and IT teams to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance financial processes and reporting.
Ensure the reliability and accuracy of financial data through effective system management and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the Director, IT Finance, and other senior leadership to develop and execute the IT strategy for financial accounting systems.
Align IT projects with business goals to enhance financial operations and reporting.
Oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP S4HANA for financial accounting.
Ensure system integrity, security, and performance to support financial data accuracy and compliance.
Lead IT projects related to financial accounting, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively.
Identify opportunities to streamline financial accounting processes through technology solutions.

Technical Skills
Minimum 5-10 years of experience designing and delivering and supporting large scale distributed systems 5-10 years of Finance experience
Extensive experience in implementing and configuring SAP Finance Accounting, Central Finance, FI-GL, AP, Project Systems, Investment Management, Asset Accounting, Controlling and AR
Must have SAP Finance functional knowledge and a strong understanding of the integration points.
Familiarity with SaaS solutions, such as Blackline and the integration points of SAP Finance with HR, Payroll, Asset Management, Supply Chain and Financial Planning
PMP Certification is desirable
Mining, construction, utilities or other heavy industry experience is preferred
