**AP & Accounting Specialist - Mexico**

Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc., a leading designer, marketer, and distributor of small household and commercial appliances, has an opening for an AP & Accounting Specialist. This position will be located in our Mexico City, MX office and will be responsible for managing the general accounting in our Mexico City operation.

**Duties of the position include**:

- Prepare and review general accounts payable
- Prepare purchases and Journal entries bank
- Prepare taxes
- Manage Account reconciliation process
- Audits / miscellaneous projects

Five years work experience in accounting / AP Audit

Accounting or Administrative degree

Writing and accounting research skills

Medium system skills (e.g. Microsoft, AS 400 / Epicor systems, ERP)

Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.

High degree of integrity and confidentiality

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) 70%

Esta posición estará ubicada en nuestra oficina de la Ciudad de México. y será responsable de dar seguimiento a los procesos contables de las operaciones de la compañía en México.

**Las funciones del puesto incluyen**:

- Preparar y revisar las cuentas generales por pagar.
- Preparar compras y asientos bancarios.
- Preparar impuestos
- Gestionar el proceso de conciliación de cuentas
- Auditorías /proyectos varios

**El Candidato ideal para esta posición deberá tener**:
Cinco años de experiência en contabilidad y procesos de cuentas por pagar

Licenciatura en contabilidad o administración

Habilidades de redacción e investigación contable

Conocimiento en manejo de sistemas (por ejemplo, Microsoft, sistemas AS 400 / Epicor, ERP)

Capacidad para manejar múltiples tareas y plazos de manera efectiva

Alto grado de integridad y confidencialidad.

Bilingüe (español/inglés) 70%
