Senior Internal Control Analyst

Ready to make an impact through strong governance and financial risk management? As a Senior Internal Control Analyst at Kellanova, you will support our Internal Control function across Mexico and Caricam. Based in Querétaro, Mexico, you will play a key role in ensuring SOX compliance, strengthening our control environment, and supporting business partners in the LATAM region.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, collaborating with Finance, GBS, and BU teams to ensure operational excellence and risk mitigation.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Support Internal Control Framework - Conduct control assessments, test key controls, and provide recommendations to strengthen processes and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
Ensure SOX Compliance and Corporate Standards - Manage compliance activities in line with SOX 404, MRL, ART&COT, and other corporate requirements, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Business Partnering and Advisory - Act as a consultant to internal stakeholders, providing policy guidance and responding to inquiries related to internal control practices across LATAM.
Drive Risk Awareness and Best Practices - Promote a culture of compliance and risk prevention, and share best practices with teams in Mexico and Caricam.
Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Audit teams to ensure remediation plans are implemented and properly documented following internal or external audits.
We’re Looking for Someone With
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in internal control, audit, or financial compliance.
Strong understanding of SOX and internal control frameworks.
Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written).
Strong analytical and consulting skills with a high attention to detail.
Experience with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
