Responsible for obtaining and managing sources of supply for the products and services the company requires to operate. Define and implement strategies to optimize and identify suppliers that offer the best service, set and monitor goals for quality, cost, value and reliability Supervise the performance and efficiency of buyers Carry out continuous improvement projects to reduce costs Follow up Supplier Evaluation Scorecards Keep all supplier with a service level of min 98% Constant focus on cost reduction Responsible to Keep all procedures of the department up to date Supervise the maintenance of levels of acceptable inventory avoiding creating excesses Keep all major contracts for MRO suppliers Control purchasing department budgets Approve vendor set up in Purchasing system according to procedures and policies Supervise Vendor Database is up to date with all vendor information including and no limited to tax id, bank information ,address and commercial
