**Position Summary**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Coordinates with Global Purchasing Buyers, Strategic Sourcing, Site Buyers, and Site Quality to ensure appropriate supplier quality support for critical commodities and service purchases.
- Conducts supplier development activities with suppliers of defective materials, including developing and executing supplier quality plans, conducting audits, monitoring SCARs, coordinating business reviews, and implementing continuous improvement and Six Sigma methods.
- Implements quality improvements related to suppliers of critical materials, products, or services in development or manufacturing.
- Resolves ineffective supplier corrective action plans directly with suppliers.
- Coordinates components and product quality testing.
- Supports the coordination and evaluation of supplier-initiated change requests.
- Analyzes and identifies trends in quality data and develops proactive measures with suppliers to support continuous improvement.
- Assists business units in acquiring new companies and integrating their suppliers into the Teleflex quality system.
- Serves on project teams focused on problem-solving methodologies.
- Drafts, coordinates, tracks, and reviews supplier quality agreements.

**Education / Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or other relevant field.
- 3+ years of previous experience in a related field (medical device manufacturing and assembly preferred).
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated industry for 3 years (preferred).

**Specialized Skills / Other Requirements**
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work effectively with other product development team members.
- Proficiency in SAP and Agile (preferred).
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in the medical industry and knowledge of ISO 13485.
